Block Print Anarkali Suit Sets for Women

When there is a function at home and you don’t want to spend hours deciding what to wear, an Anarkali makes it easy. The top fits you, the bottom flares out, and you can sit, walk and eat without any trouble.

Our Anarkali suit sets are block printed by hand in Jaipur. A wooden block is dipped in colour and pressed on the cloth, one stamp at a time, so you may notice small differences from piece to piece. Each set is made after you order, and we can stitch it to your measurements if standard sizes don’t fit. Every set comes with a dupatta, so your outfit is ready to wear. All our Anarkali sets are 3-piece sets. For a lighter everyday option, see our kurti palazzo sets.

Our Anarkali sets

What a block print Anarkali looks like

Block print is not perfectly even. Some stamps come out a bit darker, and some motifs sit a little off from the next one. This happens because every block is pressed by hand. We don’t try to hide it, since it is how you know the print was done by hand.

Why we use cotton

Cotton is soft, it breathes, and it doesn’t cling when you are sweating at a family function. Block prints also sink into it nicely, so the colours stay clear.

Which Anarkali should you pick?

Ask yourself one thing: where are you wearing it? If it is a lunch at someone’s house or a puja, go for the softer print. If it is Diwali or Navratri and you want to be noticed, take red or blue. For work, pick whichever print doesn’t shout at you, and wear small earrings.

Getting the right fit

Standard sizes don’t suit everyone, and an Anarkali looks off if it is tight on top or ends too short. So we stitch to your measurements. Open the Size Guide, measure yourself, and send us the numbers. If you are confused about any measurement, ask us before you send it. We would rather answer a question than stitch the wrong size.

How to style your Anarkali

The print is already busy, so keep the rest plain. Put the dupatta over one shoulder, or over both if you will be moving around a lot. Jhumkas suit block prints. A few bangles are fine, but skip heavy sets. Flat sandals or juttis are easier than heels if you will be standing all day. If it is cold, wear a plain jacket on top.

Taking care of your set

Wash it alone in cold water for the first few washes, with a mild detergent. Don’t dry it in strong sun. Shade is better, because sun fades the colour.
